MAC CONCHIE "TOMMY"
AGE: 63 MIDDLETOWN
Thomas W. MacConchie "Tommy", 63, of Middletown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He was born July 8, 1947 in Newark. He lived his entire life in the Bayshore area. Tommy was the longtime manager of the Belford Seafood Co-Op. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was predeceased by his brother, Scott MacConchie; and his stepfather, Victor Wollentin. Tommy is survived by his wife, Gale Martin MacConchie of Port Monmouth; his special companion, Ms. Peg of Middletown; his loving children, Jeanine Walz and her husband Edward of Belford, Michele Armstrong and her husband Glen of Belford, Amanda MacConchie of Port Monmouth, and TJ MacConchie of Port Monmouth; his parents, Thomas L. MacConchie and Betty June Wollentin; his sisters and brothers, Elizabeth Hendricks of New Monmouth, Sharon Halek-Goodof and her husband Carl of Cape Coral, Fla., James MacConchie of Neptune, Teddy MacConchie of Ocean County, and Cecily MacConchie of Ocean County; and his cherished grandchildren, Chad Manzo, Glen Armstrong Jr., Eddie Walz, Cora Armstrong, Sarah Walz, Luke Walz, Emilee Underwood, and Ethan Underwood. He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
In respect of Tommy's wishes, he will be privately cremated. Arrangements were entrusted to the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Service Hazlet. A memorial service for Tommy will be announced at a future date.
