Sgt. Roger League was in the 2nd Platoon 1968-1970

Roger Dale “Drifter” League, 66, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016.

A decorated veteran, he served three tours in Vietnam and was the recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star medals. His charm and charisma were felt by anyone who met him. He was deeply loved and highly respected by those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Earl; his mother, “Granny Grunt”; a sister, Gail; Mom Sharon and “brother” Dwight. He is survived by his wife, Donna League; sister and brother-in-law Helen and Rocky Chronister; brother Doug “Hambone” Ramsey; brother- and sisters-in-law; children Beth, Michelle, Leslie J., Neil, Leslie K., and RJ; countless “adopted” children; 10 grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; biker brothers and sisters; military brothers and sisters; and an extended family of friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Vietnam Veterans. Services will be held at a later date. Live to Ride. Ride to Live.
