James (Jim) Bryant on the right, was in the 2nd Platoon 1970-71

Jim had stage 4 lung cancer and lived in Sparks, Nevada. He was a proud and enthusiastic member of the 12th Cavalry.

I first met Jim in 1971 in Vietnam.  I had not truly known him until meeting him  in Vegas at a troop reunion.  He was the type of guy who would do anything for you. He had a big heart, always escorting vets either at home comings or at  funerals. He had a little dog who was the love of his life, at times he would call her a "Little Brat" because it didn't like going out in the yard and getting its belly wet in the wet grass.  James and my family stayed in touch with him a couple of days a week to see how was he doing. James will be missed by my wife and myself very much. I know he will be missed by many people. God rest his soul.

Rest in peace
Love you
Tom and Elda Lang
